They are asked to publicly report on their environmental performance and to aspire to widen their reporting to cover all three pillars of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental.
BASIC MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Is the applicant a legally constituted entity?
Does the applicant have a track record of good standing as an entity in general (market performance, reputation, media coverage)?
Does the applicant have clear contributions to corporate sustainability and responsibility within and outside the entity?
If there are no existing corporate sustainability and responsibility activities, is there indication/evidence of applicant's long-term commitment to corporate sustainability and responsibility?
